OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY

Giffen & Kaminski is a certified women-owned law firm.  However, our commitment to diversity goes well beyond our women-owned status.  One of our core beliefs is that an inclusive environment enhances the quality of services to our clients and our relationships with our colleagues and the community.  We believe the true strength of our firm lies in the unique backgrounds, experiences, and talents of our attorneys and staff.  We know this diversity brings improved decision making and an improved work environment.  Indeed, we think our diversity gives us a competitive advantage in servicing our clients.

The priority we have on diversity is reflected in the activities and initiatives in which our firm and our attorneys engage.  Our attorneys are frequent speakers and prolific authors advocating for and discussing diversity and inclusion. We are involved with and leaders in many women and minority-owned professional associations, including: The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), the Norman S. Minor Bar Association, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), the Diversity Committee of DRI, the Ohio Women’s Bar Association and Women’s Business Enterprise National Counsel (WBENC).
